All this should come as no surprise because, astrologically speaking, his Mars, lord of the 3rd house of voice and acting, is by far the strongest planet in his birth horoscope. And the energy of Mars together with the fabulous placements and workings of the other heavy-weight planets in his chart, namely, Moon, Saturn, Mercury, which are lords of the 11th, 5th, 1st cum 10th houses, representing profits and gains, entertainment and fame, health and career, respectively, have made DiCaprio what he is now – wildly rich, famous, successful!
From Rags to Riches
Life, however, wasn’t a bed of roses for DiCaprio, growing up. He himself has made no secret of his destitute childhood. An only child (note debilitated Rahu in the 3rd house of siblings), he grew up very poor, living in a run-down neighborhood surrounded by grime and crime, drugs and danger. His parents separated, when he was hardly a one-year-old baby. His mother supported him, working several jobs. And DiCaprio chose acting as a way to escape from poverty and public school education.

DiCaprio’s 9th house, signifying father, is heavily afflicted by natural malefics Mars and Ketu, separative and destructive by nature. But, all that’s water under the bridge now. With a staggering $350 mn to his name at last count, DiCaprio is laughing all the way to the bank. He ought to thank his spectacular stars!
